Partnership driven by customer’s needs – Samesor and Vaski Group at Blechexpo 2025

When two specialists meet in the relatively small world of sheet metal processing, good things happen. Samesor and Pivatic Oy have known each other for years through the sheet metal industry. We sat down with Jukka Heimonen, Sales Manager at Pivatic Oy which belongs to Vaski Group and talked about the story of our partnership. 

– Whenever our customers succeed, we succeed as well, Pasi Ikonen, Sales Operations Manager of Samesor sums up the spirit of the cooperation. 

Instead of competing technologies, the two companies complement each other – Pivatic focusing on punching and bending, Samesor on roll forming. Together the companies can offer customers fully integrated and flexible production lines, stretching from the coil all the way to the finished profiles.

Value through flexibility

The cooperation with Pivatic, now part of the Vaski Group, has already produced highly customized solutions for the customers of both companies. 

– One customer described the combined production line as “hard to imagine a more flexible setup than this.” That kind of flexibility comes from listening carefully to customer needs already in the sales phase, and then tailoring every detail of the line to maximize adaptability, says Jukka Heimonen from Pivatic. 

– For us, the real value of cooperation is combining technological know-how in a way that helps us compete against the global giants. By joining forces, we can respond better to market requirements and deliver the high level of customization our customers need, Jukka adds.

Shared vision for the future

After ten years of growing cooperation, both companies see even more potential ahead. New market segments are opening up through synergies and acquisitions, and sectors like solar farms and data centers are becoming increasingly important.

– We keep learning more about each other’s technologies, and that makes us stronger in a constantly changing business environment, Pasi Ikonen says. 

Both Jukka and Pasi have worked in the sheet metal industry for over 20 years. Blechexpo in Stuttgart this October is the next natural step in their journey together. By sharing a joint stand, Samesor and Vaski Group can showcase a broader offering and serve a wider range of customers.

– We serve the same customers who want to invest in whole production lines. Pivatic helps the customer at the beginning of the production line and Samesor steps in at the end, describes Jukka Heimonen. 

– It also makes sense to share costs and still get more impact, Jukka smiles.

For both companies, Blechexpo is also the perfect opportunity to check the pulse of the European construction industry. 

– We want to learn how the market sees the future and how strong the investment confidence is now and in the near future, says Jukka Heimonen.

 

And beyond the business, there’s the Finnish connection that makes working together easy. 

– Being from Finland, we understand the same jokes, Pasi Ikonen chuckles.
